Initially launched in 1998, the Capeland collection became the round steel version of the rectangular Hampton. Named after an imaginary place, "Cape" is suggestive of the ocean and exploration, while "Land" adds a grounding element. This Capeland Chronograph features a 42 mm sandblasted black ADLC-coated stainless steel case with a matching black dial, partnered with silver-tone and luminescent leaf hands, applied trapezoidal indices and Phi emblem at the 12 o'clock position as hour markers. Complementing it further is a fluted and signed crown with pump pushers, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, chronograph counters - 60 seconds (3 o'clock position) & 30 minutes (9 o'clock position), beveled date aperture (6 o'clock position), and orange accents via the chapter ring, subdial, chronograph hands, and strap. Fitted with a black leather strap and secured by a triple folding clasp with security push-pieces. This watch has a screw on exhibition caseback showcasing the caliber BM122894, a Swiss automatic chronograph movement that beats 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 42 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
