The bordered and beveled date aperture at the 3 o'clock position is adjacent to the protected smart crown wherein controls for time-setting can be minimally operated minute by minute or hour by hour. It is also equipped with a perpetual calendar that no longer requires correcting the date. A black rubber strap with a double safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism completes the durable and versatile look.
