Loaded with racing-inspired features, the Formula 1 series is TAG Heuer's most versatile watch and is built for speed and to last a lifetime. This Formula 1 chronograph is resolutely inspired by the brisk energy of motor racing. It features a 43 mm brushed stainless steel case with a fixed black PVD-coated tachymeter scale bezel, protected screw down crown and chronograph pushers. It holds a radiant sunray yellow gray dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal which perfectly contrasts the black and luminescent tapered baton hands, applied indices and Arabic numeral at the 12 o'clock position as hour markers. Three azurage subdials present counters for 60-seconds, 30-minutes and 1/10th of a second while a beveled date aperture is situated at the 4 o'clock position. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a folding clasp with double safety push buttons. Underneath the specially decorated caseback is the Ronda caliber 5040.D, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement and is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.
