Seiko Prospex Save The Ocean Special Edition Automatic Stainless Steel Blue Dial Day/Date Divers Mens Watch Model# SRPG57K1. Aptly nicknamed the "Antarctica Monster" in reference to its inspiration, Antarctica's icy blue landscape together with penguin footprints which represent the dwindling numbers of its inhabitants. This special edition features a 42 mm stainless steel case with a gradient icy blue dial protected by Seiko's proprietary crystal, Hardlex, and a uni-directional rotating stainless steel bezel with a 60-minute scale. The distinct indices and hands are silver-tone, all of which are filled with Seiko's LumiBrite for enhanced luminescence, readability, and visibility for longer periods. A day/date aperture with a magnifying loupe is located at the 3 o'clock position while the crown sits just below at the 4 o'clock position. This watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet secured with a three-fold clasp and safety. The stainless steel caseback features the iconic tsunami and Prospex logos. It is powered by Seiko's caliber 4R36 automatic movement which boasts of a 41-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet. Seiko donates a portion of the proceeds from these ‘Save the Ocean’ models to sea conservation and environmental organizations.
