A natural choice for modern explorers, Rado's Captain Cook collection is charting new territory in vintage watches, its classic details and up-to-date features make it a perfect timepiece. This gents' Captain Cook diver features a 43 mm plasma high-tech ceramic & steel case that holds a black/blue skeleton dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This mostly ceramic timepiece achieves its gray color and matte/shiny metallic finish, changing its molecular composition with gases activated via a plasma discharge at 20,000°C in a specially-designed oven. The black-tinted transparent dial has silver-tone and luminescent arrow hands with applied indices as hour markers. Complementary features include Rado's rotating anchor above its logo, blue periphery/chapter ring, exposed movement gear trains & traditional Côtes de Genève detailing, uni-directional rotating steel dive bezel with blue high-tech ceramic top ring, and a signed screw-down crown at the 3 o'clock position. It is fitted with a plasma high-tech ceramic bracelet and secured by a signed folding clasp. Showcased underneath the titanium with sapphire exhibition caseback is the caliber R734, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, generating an impressive 80 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 300 meters/1000 feet.
