Following from a long line of Oris pilots' watches marching back to the early 1900s, the ProPilot X Calibre 400's power and aesthetics lie beyond its associations. It features a 39 mm multi-piece titanium case that holds a matte and textured salmon pink dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal. The bright dial has silver-tone and luminescent obelisk hands with white and luminous stick indices as hour markers. This watch has an angled coin-edge fixed bezel which resembles a jet engine's turbine. Similar design cues are evident on the caseback and screw down crown at the 3 o'clock position, while a date window sits symmetrically at the 6 o'clock position. It is fitted with a very sleek and angular multi-piece titanium bracelet and secured by a folding clasp, which interestingly resembles an aircraft seatbelt. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the in-house calibre Oris 400, a Swiss automatic movement capable of 120-hours or 5-days worth of power reserve, elevated levels of antimagnetism and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
