Following from a long line of Oris pilot's watches marching back to the early 1900's, the ProPilot X Calibre 400's power and aesthetics lies beyond its associations. It features a 39 mm multi-piece titanium case that holds a matte gray dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal. The dial has black stick indices as hour markers and obelisk-style hands. This watch has an angled coin-edge fixed bezel which resembles a jet engine's turbine. Similar design cues are evident on the caseback and screw down crown at the 3 o'clock position while a date window sits symmetrically at the 6 o'clock position. The very sleek and angular multi-piece titanium bracelet has a folding clasp which interestingly resembles an aircraft seatbelt. This watch has a screw down exhibition caseback showcasing the in-house calibre Oris 400, a Swiss automatic movement capable of 120-hours of power reserve, elevated levels of antimagnetism and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
