A constant in Oris' production for more than 80 years, the Big Crown Pointer Date enters a new chapter in its story with its distinctive oversized crown, pointer date hand and an upgraded Sellita-based movement. It features a 40 mm multi-piece stainless steel case that holds a blue dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal bordered on by a polished fixed coin edge bezel. The dial has white and luminescent Arabic numerals as hour markers and silver-tone hands while the red-tipped central hand point towards a date scale around the dial's edge. At the 3 o'clock position lies its signature big crown. Touches of white give a much-needed contrast highlighting the dial texts, minute track, and date scale markers. The brown leather strap is secured with a stainless steel-signed buckle. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the Oris 754, a Swiss automatic movement capable of 38 hours of power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet. This Oris Big Crown comes with a special presentation box.
