A constant in Oris' production for more than 80 years, the Big Crown Pointer Date enters a new chapter in its story with its distinctive oversized crown, pointer date hand and an upgraded Sellita-based movement. Originally created in the 1930's for pilots, this Big Crown Pointer Date retains its design integrity and features a 40 mm multi-piece stainless steel case that holds an inky blue dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal bordered on by a polished fixed coin edge bezel. It has silver-tone and luminescent cathedral hands and white Arabic numerals as hour markers. Adding to its unique personality is its red-tipped central pointer hand with date scale, signature oversized crown, and railway minute track. Fitted with a brown leather strap and secured by a stainless steel-signed buckle. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the Oris 754-1, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 41 hours of power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
