Made for one thing only: to explore the maximum extremes and limits of professional diving with the use of ultra-tough materials combined with Oris's watchmaking innovations. Formerly known as the ProDiver, Oris integrates it with their highly successful Aquis series and renamed it as the AquisPro Date. It features a massive 49 mm black DLC-plated titanium case that holds a deep black dial with a wave pattern under a double-domed sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone and luminescent obelisk hands with applied trapezoidal indices as hour markers. It is bordered by a uni-directional rotating black ceramic bezel. The bezel is wrapped in a black rubber shroud, which Oris dubbed a 'Rotation Safety System' that safely locks the dive bezel in place, avoiding any accidental movements, and which also acts as a bezel grip. Added features include luminous supplementary dots and bezel markers, a date window at the 6 o'clock position, a helium escape valve on the left side of the case, and a protected screw-down crown at the 3 o'clock position. The matching black rubber strap also has a black DLC titanium security folding clasp with diver's extension. Encased within the specially-engraved screw down caseback is the in-house manufactured Oris Calibre 400, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating an impressive 120 hours of power reserve, has elevated levels of anti-magnetism, and is water-resistant up to 1000 meters/3300 feet.
