NOMOS Glashutte Tangomat Date Automatic Stainless Steel White Dial Black Leather Strap Mens Watch 602
NOMOS Glashutte Tangomat Date Automatic Stainless Steel White Dial Black Leather Strap Mens Watch Model# 602
The big brother of the NOMOS Tangente with a more robust case, larger diameter, and an automatic caliber, the Tangomat collection is for those who appreciate straightforward design and clear lines. This Tangomat Date is reliable and unpretentious, answering which day it is by the aperture at 6 o'clock. It features a 38.3 mm stainless steel case with a galvanized white and silver-plated dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has tempered blue baton hands with slim black indices and Arabic numerals in narrow serif typeface as hour markers. This is complemented by a signed crown at the 3 o'clock position, recessed sub-seconds at the 6 o'clock position, and just below it, a trapezoidal date window. It is fitted with a black leather strap crafted from Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan and secured with a stainless steel signed buckle. The screw-on exhibition caseback with an extra-large sapphire crystal window showcases the brilliantly decorated and ultra-thin in-house caliber, DUW 5101, a German automatic movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, generating 42 hours of power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet. To set the date on this watch, start by turning the hands forward to 1:00 a.m., which will cause the date to change—this ensures you're in the correct cycle. Then, turn the hands counterclockwise back to about 8:30 p.m., and move them forward again to 1:00 a.m. The date will change once more. Repeat this back-and-forth motion until the correct date is shown. Please be mindful of whether it's a.m. or p.m., as the date mechanism only advances at midnight, not at midday.
Like all of our watches, this NOMOS Glashutte Tangomat Date Automatic Stainless Steel White Dial Black Leather Strap Mens Watch is brand new and comes in its original packaging.
