A great deal of tradition and craftsmanship combined with high technology produced a round watch with many right angles, the Tangente collection represents the Bauhaus movement's principles such as simplicity, minimalism, and "form follows function", making it a design classic in various versions and movements. This Tangente 2Date celebrates the humble with an innovative two-part display. It features a 37.5 mm stainless steel bipartite case with a galvanized white silver-plated dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone (rhodium-plated) baton hands with slim black indices and Arabic numerals in narrow serif typeface as hour markers. A signed crown complements it at the 3 o'clock position, recessed sub-seconds at the 6 o'clock position, and dual date displays: a classic trapezoidal date window at the 6 o'clock position and a date ring with oblong cutouts along the dial's periphery, providing an overview of the whole month. It is fitted with a black leather strap crafted from Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan and secured with a stainless steel signed buckle. The exhibition caseback with an extra-large sapphire crystal window showcases the brilliantly decorated and ultra-thin in-house caliber, DUW 4601, a German manual winding movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, generating 52 hours of power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
