Made in collaboration with Swiss company Tide Ocean SA, Luminox's #tide ECO series utilizes their new upcycled plastic, #tide ocean material®. The eco-friendly material provides equal durability and water resistance as CARBONOX and is 100% used for the case, bezel and strap. This #tide ECO watch features a 46 mm blue #tide ocean material® case with a gray dial with waves motif matched with white and orange syringe-style hands and white Arabic numerals as hour markers. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLTs illuminate the watch thru its hands, along the raised chapter ring and inside the bezel pip. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a uni-directional rotating dive bezel and a bordered date window at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the screw down crown. A bit of red, white and orange contrasts adorn the dial texts and markers, Luminox shield, recycling symbol, hands, date border/background, bezel and crown. A gray #tide ocean material® textile strap secured by a stainless steel signed buckle completes the tough and sporty look. This watch has a solid caseback inscribed with Luminox's and #tide's logos surrounded by "Every Second Counts" and "No Planet B" slogans wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 515, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
