Luminox Scott Cassell Deep Dive CARBONOX Black Dial Black Rubber Strap Date Divers Quartz Mens Watch Model# XS.1551 / XS1551
As someone who relies on Luminox timepieces as part of his essential gear, Scott Cassell, an expert counter-terrorism operative and a consummate undersea explorer, is always ready to embrace danger while heading two organizations - Sea Wolves Unlimited and Undersea Voyager Project, both of which are fully supported by Luminox. This Scott Cassell Deep Dive features a 45 mm CARBONOX case with a sunray black dial matched with white hands and dots with an index at 12 o'clock as hour markers for the 12-hour format and white Arabic numerals for the 24-hour format. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT's illuminate the watch thru its hands, around the raised chapter ring and inside the bezel pip. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a uni-directional rotating CARBONOX dive bezel and a bordered date window at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the screw down crown and patented bezel locking system. Touches of white and red contrast is evident via the dial texts and markers, Luminox shield, date border/background, bezel and seconds hand. A black genuine rubber strap secured by a stainless steel buckle completes the tough and intrepid look. This watch has a screw down caseback with a detailed engraving of Scott Cassell’s “Great White” submarine, a "Save the Sea" slogan and the names of the non-profits "Sea Wolves" and "Undersea Voyager Project", wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 715 Li, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 300 meters/1000 feet.
