Luminox ICE-SAR Arctic CARBONOX Black Dial Rubber & Textile Strap Date Divers Quartz Mens Watch Model# XL.1002 / XL1002 made in collaboration with ICE-SAR (Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue) it features a 46 mm CARBONOX™ case, an ultra-lightweight carbon compound material, with a textured black dial symbolic of lava fields that cover 30% of Iceland and carabiner-style hands, inspired by carabiners the team uses during rescue missions and black and red Arabic numerals in military time format. These are equipped with tritium-based luminescent tubes. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a fixed CARBONOX™ bezel with a 60-minute scale and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. Touches of red are evident via the seconds hand, the bezel markers, the graphic surrounding the date window representing the ICE-SAR logo, the inner rim with military time markers and the 112 replacing the 12 which symbolizes the emergency number in many European countries. A black genuine rubber strap with textile inlay and red stitching is secured by a CARBONOX™ buckle completes the tough and versatile look. This watch has a screw on caseback wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 515 HF 6, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
