In collaboration with military and law enforcement expert Andrea Michaeli, who helped create the tactical Luminox Recon Line. Named after the most versatile divers in the military, which comes from their frog kick swim style, the Commando Frogman is designed to mimic their extreme amphibious versatility. This Commando Frogman features a 46 mm CARBONOX case with a textured gray dial reminiscent of sand, matched with black pencil-style hands and white Arabic numerals for the 12-hour and black Arabic numerals for the 24-hour format. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT's illuminate the watch thru its hands, inside the bezel pip and around the chapter ring mixed with luminescent dots. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a uni-directional rotating CARBONOX "dive time" bezel with an integrated no-decompression scale on an orange aluminum inner ring, a date window and a protected screw down crown at the 3 o'clock position. A mix of black, white and orange contrasts are evident via the dial texts and markers, Luminox shield, flange, hands, date/background and bezel. A black rubber strap secured by an ion-plated stainless steel signed buckle completes the tough and sporty look. The strap is multi-purpose since the backside serves as a Morse code guide while the front part serves as a functioning ruler and has kilometer markings. This watch has a screw down caseback inscribed with an engraving of the Commando compass logo wherein underneath lies a Ronda caliber 715 Li, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
