Capturing the essence of endurance and exploration, the Atacama Field 1960 series is the epitome of a field watch, born from the heart of the world's driest desert and made to withstand the elements and accompany you on every adventure. This blackout Atacama Field features a 43 mm CARBONOX case with a textured black dial matched with black pencil hands and Arabic numerals as hour markers in both 12- and 24-hour formats. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT's illuminate the watch thru its hands and along the chapter ring. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, slightly raised fixed bezel, bordered date window at the 3 o'clock position, and a protected pull/push crown in black ion-plating. Touches of red contrast is evident via the date indicator and seconds hand. A black rubber strap secured by a CARBONOX signature buckle completes the tough and stealthy look. This watch has a screw on caseback with an engraving of a Luminox compass rose motif wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 515, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
