Characterized by its rectangular case and harmonious proportions, this series of watches was inspired by a 1920s model. A powerful expression of the elegance and Italian sweet life, this DolceVita x YVY line is a collaboration with Swiss designer Yvonne Reichmuth, founder and creative director of YVY AG, an independent brand known for its innovative and handmade leather goods, giving the famously rectangular timepieces a new identity and approach to the equestrian world and its bridles. Known as the glamorous version of the collection, it features a 20.8 mm x 32 mm (including the lugs) rectangular stainless steel case, paved with a total of 46 sparkling diamonds and holds an intricate silver-tone guilloche (flinqué) dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The mesmerizing dial perfectly contrasts the black dial elements, such as the Longines text and railway minute/subseconds track. The hour, minute, and subsecond hands and Roman numerals as hour markers add a vivid touch of blue. For time adjustment, the signed crown sits at the 3 o'clock position. It is fitted with a YVY-designed brown leather double strap and secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. The detachable section of this bridle-inspired double strap can be worn separately or removed entirely for a variety of looks and styles. This watch has a solid caseback engraved with Longines' old winged hourglass logo with the Ernest Francillon & Compagnie signature (EFCo). Encased within is a reliable Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
