Longines' Conquest V.H.P. which stands for Very High Precision, combines high technicality, innovation and modern aesthetic to reach new heights in quartz-based watchmaking. It features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds a black sunray dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has gunmetal gray and luminescent obelisk-style hands, applied indices and Arabic numerals at the 12 o'clock position, a bordered and beveled date aperture between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions, and a protected smart crown flanked with pushers wherein controls for time-setting can be minimally operated minute by minute or hour by hour. It is also equipped with a perpetual calendar that no longer requires correcting the date. Three subdials with gunmetal gray rings feature 60-second, 30-minute, and 12-hour counters. A stainless steel bracelet with a triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism completes the elegant and versatile look. This watch also features a solid caseback engraved with Longines' old winged hourglass logo with the Ernest Francillon & Compagnie signature (EFCo). Encased within is the caliber L289.2, an extremely precise Swiss quartz chronograph movement capable of automatically resetting/correcting the hands in case of shock or exposure to a magnetic field and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
