Since 1954, the Conquest line perpetuates the spirit of conquest to all who dare go further than others and venture unto new horizons. This sports watch features a 43 mm stainless steel case that holds a deep black dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a polished fixed bezel. It also has silver-tone and luminescent obelisk-style hands and applied indices with a mix of applied Arabic numerals at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions as hour markers. Adding a bit of white contrast are the dial texts, flange minute markers, and date border/background. The date aperture is located at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to its protected screw-down crown. A stainless steel bracelet secured by a triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism completes the classic and versatile look. This watch also has a solid caseback engraved with Longines' winged hourglass wherein underneath lies the caliber L888, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 25,200 vibrations and is water-resistant up to 300 meters/1000 feet.
