Perfectly blending the spirit of the outdoors with its engineering DNA, Victorinox's Journey 1884 collection was inspired by Switzerland's love of hiking, coming up with a go-to adventure companion that can respond well to various terrain and weather changes. Designed as a homage to both the natural world and the brand's engineering DNA, this Journey 1884 is a limited edition of 1,884 individually numbered pieces. and features a 43 mm stainless steel case with a deep black dial that has a smooth center and textured outer section. It has black and luminescent skeleton hands, applied Arabic numerals, indices and Victorinox emblem at 12 o'clock. Also in black stainless steel is the uni-directional rotating coin edge bezel with a 60-minute scale on a black aluminum top ring and the protected screw down crown. This is complemented by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, 24-hour markers, and a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Additional interesting design details include a sloped cut off bezel section engraved with 1884, a reference for Victorinox's founding year, engraved material code on the case's bottom left side and seconds hand counterweight resembling the silhouette of a Swiss Army knife. Fitted with a red paracord nylon strap and secured with a black stainless steel signed buckle. This watch has a screw down caseback engraved with an image of a Swiss pocket knife and limited edition number which encases the Ronda caliber 715, a Swiss quartz movement with ISO certified anti-magnetic protection, shock and water-resistance up to 200 meters/660 feet. This Journey 1884 also includes a Swiss Army knife, interchangeable black rubber strap, and accessories wallet.
