This U-Boat Chimera chronograph introduces new geometries and a distinctive three-dimensional experience. A limited edition of only 300 pieces, featuring a sizeable 46 mm stainless steel case that holds a two-level dial: an upper part in green-painted striped metal & lower part in smoked sapphire, under a scratch-resistant optical sapphire crystal and bordered by a polished tungsten bezel fastened with 5 screws. These specialized external screws with a custom head type hold together the bezel, carrure, and caseback. It has perforated silver-tone hands, laser-cut counters, indices, and Arabic numerals at the 4, 8, and 12 o'clock as hour markers. This "Destro" (right-handed) gents' sports watch is also equipped with a lefty crown, highly distinctive with its "canteen watch" inspired crown protective cap with a crown release system pusher, and a discreet date aperture at the 9 o'clock position. Four counters share the dial: 60-second, 30-minute, 12-hour, and a 24-hour indicator. On the right side of the case is a fixed plate with its limited edition number and a side window in smoked mineral glass. It is fitted with a brown leather strap and secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. This watch also features an exhibition caseback with a smoked mineral glass window showcasing the Sellita caliber SW 500, a Swiss automatic chronograph movement personalized to U-Boat specifications, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 62 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
