Loaded with racing-inspired features, the Formula 1 series is TAG Heuer's most versatile watch and is built for speed and to last a lifetime. This sports chronograph watch is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces and commemorates TAG Heuer's partnership with the legendary race event, the Indianapolis 500. This 2023 Formula 1 x Indy 500 features a 43 mm stainless steel case with a fixed tachymeter scale bezel on a black aluminum top ring, protected screw down crown and chronograph pushers. It holds a black textured dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the finishing is reminiscent of Indianapolis Motor Speedway's asphalt surface. It has silver-tone and luminescent obelisk-skeleton hands and Arabic numerals as hour markers. Three subdials present counters for 60-seconds, 30-minutes and 1/10th of a second while a beveled date aperture is situated at the 4 o'clock position. Multiple Indy 500 references are in gold-tone such as the dial's "Wings & Wheel" logo, brickyard motif, and the bezel ring's "INDY 500" print. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a folding clasp with push-buttons. The screw-down caseback is specially decorated with the INDY 500 logo and limited edition number which encases the Ronda caliber 5040.D, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement and is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.
