In celebration of a British Rock Icon & Pop legend, Raymond Weil in collaboration with the David Bowie Estate pays homage to the legendary musician. This Freelancer "David Bowie" is a limited edition of only 3,000 pieces, a tribute to the life and musical career of one of the most influential artists of all time. It features a 42 mm stainless steel case with a fixed bezel and screw-down crown. It holds an ebony black dial with concentric circles resemble a vinyl record, giving contrast to the silver-tone and luminescent barrel-shaped hands and applied indices as hour markers. Featured design cues of the British artist include the universally recognized red stylized lightning bolt at the 12 o'clock position & the Andy Warhol-designed pop art logo at the 6 o'clock position. Fitted with a black leather strap and secured by a folding clasp with a double push-security system. The sapphire exhibition caseback is printed with Bowie's portrait, encasing the caliber RW 4200, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
