One of the largest and most influential companies in the history of cinema and entertainment, Warner Bros. was founded on April 4, 1923 in Los Angeles by brothers Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack Warner. Montegrappa celebrates the entertainment giant's centenary with an extraordinary collection; the Warner Bros. Centennial Pen. This fountain pen is a limited edition of 230 pieces only and a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. Crafted from satin-finished sterling silver, its cap and barrel showcases a parade of the studio's most popular franchises such as DC Superheroes, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings etc. while pristine white acrylic is utilized along the grip section, step, and blind cap. The cap is a tribute to Warner Bros. iconic symbols evident via the finial sculpted with a projection reel detailing and signed with its centenary logo while the clip is inspired by the studio's 41-meter water tower, synonymous with the city of stars and the golden age of cinema. Additional design elements include clapperboard markings on the cap band and barrel which aligns perfectly when the cap is secured, stipple technique on the bas-relief engravings, Montegrappa ambigram within a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, a cartouche reminiscent of Warner Bros.' logo shield giving owners the opportunity to inscribe their name or initials, and the limited edition number by the blind cap's tip. This piston-fill fountain pen has an extra fine 18k white gold nib and includes an ink refill bottle housed within its custom replica display case of Warner Bros.' iconic water tower. The length of the pen is 5.6" / 141.5 mm. The Diameter is 17.5 mm.
