A creation of a modern and timeless design, the Classics Worldtimer Manufacture, a series launched in 2012 is a true travel icon, can be used to instantly tell exact times in 24 cities with an added bonus of an immediate indication which of them are experiencing day or night. This special Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, produced to commemorate 37 years of the Frederique Constant Manufacture is limited to only 718 pieces and features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds a stunning blue dial made of genuine Lapis Lazuli stone under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and bordered by a polished fixed bezel. It has silver-tone and luminescent alpha hands and applied dots as hour markers. The highly decorated and complicated dial is artistically layered according to its functions. The white outer disc lays out the 24 cities that represent 24 time zones on Earth. The inner disc serves as the 24-hour indicator, the white half signifies the daytime cities and the blue half for the night time cities. The time, date and worldtimer functions are singlehandedly operated via the oversized "onion" crown at the 3 o'clock position while the offset date wheel with pointer hand is situated at the 6 o'clock position. It is fitted with a matching blue leather strap and secured by an adjustable stainless steel folding clasp. This watch has a screw down exhibition caseback showcasing the in-house caliber FC-718, a Swiss automatic movement which has a power reserve of 38 hours and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet. This Classic Worldtimer Manufacture's limited edition number is engraved on both the movement and caseback, it also comes packaged in a special presentation box.
