A collection inspired by vintage sports cars, Gucci's partnership with different automotive manufacturers over the years, such as American Motors, Cadillac, Fiat etc., brought to fruition the Coupe series, innovatively combining the worlds of cars and fashion. This Gucci Coupe features a 40 x 40 mm stainless steel rounded square case that holds a taupe dial, engraved with Gucci's traditional "Diamante" pattern under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It accentuates the silver-tone and luminescent skeleton hands, applied indices, and Arabic numerals at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions as hour markers. Subtle expressions of the brand's green and red colors are evident via Gucci's sherry line badge at the 3 o'clock position and lettering just below the 12 o'clock position. Other aesthetic and functional details include a G-shaped detail around the dial's center, radially-arranged hour/minute markers, a big date window, flange minute markers, a small seconds subdial, and a protected crown signed with the distinctive Gucci "G" emblem. It is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a signed folding clasp. The solid caseback houses a reliable Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
