Created for individuals who want function paired with notable flair, the Vuelo collection, derived from the Spanish word for "flight", captures Cuervo y Sobrino's passion for innovation, captivating aesthetics, and legendary Savoir-faire. The Vuelo Emilio Carranza series pays tribute to the brave aviator, his love of flying, and his contributions to Mexican aviation which includes a record-breaking flight from Mexico to New York City in 1928, among many others. It features a 44 mm stainless steel case with a polished fixed bezel that holds a striking black dial under a double curved sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone and pink luminescent cathedral hands and peach color luminous Arabic numerals with the brand's crest at the 12 o'clock position as hour markers. Complementing this vintage-inspired pilot's watch are twelve engraved bezel markers, a signed crown, arched screw-down lugs, red-tipped seconds hand, trapezoidal date aperture, and a plane illustration engraving at the 6 o'clock position. It is fitted with a brown leather strap and secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. The solid case back is decorated with an engraving of Emilio Carranza and protects the caliber CYS 5103, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating 42 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
