Launched in 1973, the Riviera collection boasts its iconic dodecagonal design, a quintessential design that revolutionized watchmaking codes. This openworked gents' Riviera is a tribute to the passion of Baume & Mercier for the beauty and elegance of simplicity: an ode to the savoir-faire of a brand that has excelled in combining form and function. It features a 42 mm dodecagonal stainless steel case and fixed bezel fastened with 4 screws in sandblasted ADLC-coated steel and an octagonal signed crown. Safely within is a black skeletonized dial, its exquisite faceted lattice work giving a glimpse into the movement's geartrains, jewels and cogwheels. It has gray/white tapered baton-skeleton hands with hashes and dots along the dial's perimeter as hour/minute markers. Complementing it further is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, black aluminum bezel ring, open balance aperture at the 6 o'clock position and the brand's Phi emblem that is etched on the crown. Fitted with an integrated black rubber strap and secured by a triple folding clasp with security push-pieces. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the Sellita caliber AMT2500, a Swiss automatic movement that beats 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
