Like a balloon and as blue as its cabochon nestled in its side, Cartier's Ballon Bleu collection is a timeless watchmaking icon created in 2007 that possesses a roundness elegantly embracing the wearer's skin. This ladies' Ballon Bleu features a 33 mm stainless steel case that holds a radiant sunray blue silvered dial. The dial has complementary silver-tone Roman numerals as hour markers, a black inner minute track, and blued-steel sword hands. The fluted crown at 3 o'clock is integrated into the case, its cap under a "metal hoop" crown guard which protects the synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a hidden folding clasp. This watch has a screw-on caseback which encases the Calibre 076, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
