A constant in Oris' production for more than 80 years, the Big Crown Pointer Date enters a new chapter in its story with its distinctive oversized crown, pointer date hand and an upgraded Sellita-based movement. This Big Crown Pointer Date features a 40 mm multi-piece bronze case that holds a blue dial under a double-domed sapphire crystal and bordered by a fixed coin edge bezel. It has bronze-tone and luminescent cathedral hands with white Arabic numerals as hour markers. The oversized and fluted bronze crown is situated at the 3 o'clock position while the central pointer hand with its red and crescent-shaped tip indicates the date via the date scale around the dial's edge. It is fitted with a matching bronze bracelet on a security folding clasp. Showcased through the exhibition caseback is the Oris caliber 754, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
