The ultimate tool watch and also the first Longines series to have its name protected by the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office in 1954, the Conquest collection exudes a harmonious blend of audacity, contemporary design, and sporty elegance while remaining true to its original identity. This Conquest sports watch features a 41 mm stainless steel case that holds a lacquered and polished black dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It also has silver-tone and luminescent obelisk hands, indices, and Arabic numerals at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions as hour markers. The date aperture is located at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to its protected screw down crown. Contrasting white accents are evident via the dial texts, flange minute markers, and date background/border. It is fitted with a black leather strap and secured with a triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism. This watch also features a solid caseback engraved with Longines' old winged hourglass logo with the Ernest Francillon & Compagnie signature (EFCo). Encased within is the caliber L157, a reliable Swiss quartz movement that is powered by a Renata 371 battery and is water-resistant up to 300 meters/1000 feet.
