Perfectly blending the spirit of the outdoors with its engineering DNA, Victorinox's Journey 1884 collection was inspired by Switzerland's love of hiking, coming up with a go-to adventure companion that can respond well to various terrain and weather changes. This Journey 1884 features a 43 mm stainless steel case with a matte black dial that has a textured center and horizontal teak patterned outer section. It has polished silver-tone and luminescent skeleton hands, applied Arabic numerals, indices and Victorinox emblem at the 12 o'clock position. This is complemented by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, uni-directional rotating coin edge bezel with a 60-minute scale on a black ceramic top ring, 24-hour markers, protected screw down crown and a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Additional interesting design details include a sloped cut off bezel section engraved with 1884, a reference for Victorinox's founding year, engraved material code on the case's bottom left side and seconds hand counterweight resembling the silhouette of a Swiss Army knife. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured with a double locking safety clasp. This watch has a screw down exhibition caseback printed with an image of a Swiss pocket knife which showcases the Sellita caliber SW200-1, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 38 hours of power reserve, has ISO certified shock and water resistance of up to 200 meters/660 feet.
