A collection rumored to be launched following a Swiss colonel's secret request for their parachute troops in the 1960's, hence the name Skydiver. This limited edition Skydiver of only 600 pieces combines the no-nonsense functionality of a dive watch with the style and aesthetic of a pilot's watch. It features a 42 mm "aged" stainless steel case with a smoky gradient gray dial under a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal and bordered by a uni-directional rotating dive bezel on a black ceramic top ring. It has silver-tone and luminescent obelisk hands, applied trapezoidal indices as hour markers, and a more prominent minute track. The oversized screw-down crown is at the 3 o'clock position, adjacent to the date aperture. This watch is equipped with a gray leather strap and secured by a black PVD-coated steel signed buckle. It also comes with an interchangeable brown leather strap and travel pouch. The decorated stainless steel caseback features an engraving of a paratrooper unit emblem and Edox logo, wherein underneath lies the Sellita-based Caliber 80, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet.
