An Edox legend that began in 1961, the Delfin collection marked an important turning point in the development of the hourglass brand, setting new water resistance standards within the Swiss watchmaking panorama. This Delfin The Original features a 43 mm gray PVD-coated steel case with a sunray anthracite dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It is surrounded by a fixed black PVD-coated dodecagonal bezel with an aesthetic 60-minute marker. It has yellow gold-tone and luminescent obelisk hands, applied indices as hour markers, and a yellow gold-tone inner ring detail parallel to the chapter ring. The black PVD-coated protected screw-down crown is at the 3 o'clock position. This watch is equipped with a black rubber strap and secured by a black PVD-coated steel signed buckle. The decorated stainless steel caseback features the signature dolphin image at center and inscribed "Edox Delfin The Water Champion", wherein underneath lies the Sellita-based Caliber 88, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.
