Honoring renowned classical music figures of the past, the Montblanc Donation Pen collection supports carefully selected cultural projects by making a donation via their special editions, each reflecting a virtuoso's namesake. Paying tribute to Frederic Chopin, a Polish virtuoso pianist and composer, this Donation Ballpoint Pen serves as an homage to his admiration for the keyboard instrument. The pen's cap and barrel is made of black precious resin combined with platinum-coated fittings such as the clip that resembles a piano hammer. The cap ring features musical notes of Chopin's first nocturne, "Nocturne in B-flat minor, Op. 9, No.1" while his famous prelude, "La Note Bleue" inspired the blue color of the ink window. It comes in a special gift box which also contains a little notepad adorned with musical notes of his famous nocturne.
