In celebration of its 3rd consecutive time as the FIS Nordic World Ski Championship's official timing partner, Junghans added 2 more limited edition special models to their popular 1972 series, both models combining the brand's passion for timekeeping and winter sports. This 1972 Competition FIS Lemon is a limited edition "bullhead" chronograph of only 150 pieces and features a 45.5 mm x 41 mm stainless steel oval case with a lemon yellow varnished dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone and luminescent pencil hands with applied indices as hour markers. This is complemented by an inner tachymeter scale, 2 chronograph subdials (60 seconds & 30-minutes), central chronograph seconds hand, screw down crown & pushers at the top of the case, and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. It is fitted with a matching lemon yellow leather strap and secured with a stainless steel signed folding clasp. The solid caseback is held by 4 screws and engraved with a competition edition motif and limited edition number which encases the caliber J880.5, an automatic chronograph movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 48 hours of power reserve and is water resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
