As a tribute to the legendary Runabout yachts of the 1920s, Frederique Constant in partnership with the RHS (Riva Historical Society), a Milan-based association dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the classic Runabout boats which is founded by Piero Mario Gibellini and Carlos Riva. This sleek chronograph is limited to 888 pieces and features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds an exquisite navy blue dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone luminescent hands, applied indices, and Arabic numerals along the perimeter of its central motif. Three subdials display 30-minute, 12-hour, and 60-second counters while the date aperture is discreetly within the 6 o'clock register. Time and chronograph functions are operated via the crown and pushers along the right side of the case. This watch is paired with a matching navy blue leather strap and is secured by a folding clasp with push buttons. This watch has a transparent caseback featuring an image of the RHS pavilion and its limited edition number. Peeking right through is the caliber FC-392, a Swiss automatic chronograph movement that boasts a power reserve of 55 hours and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet. This limited edition Classics Runabout Chronograph also comes with a special presentation box that includes a miniature wooden replica of a Runabout yacht.
