A collection with an impeccable pedigree, the Longines Spirit was created by the winged hourglass brand, drawing inspiration from its heritage of going hand in hand with legendary pioneers who conquered air, land, and sea. This Longines Spirit Chronometer features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds a textured silver-tone dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It also has gray and luminescent pencil hands with applied Arabic numerals as hour markers. A polished silver-tone ring separates the main dial from the outer minute track, where diamond-shaped luminescent markers are laid out every 5-minute intervals, lining up with the red and diamond-shaped tip of the chronograph seconds hand. Three subdials offer counters for sub-seconds, 30-minute, and 12-hour. The oversized screw-down crown and pushers adjust and operate the time and chronograph functions while a screw-down pusher at the 10 o'clock position corrects the date, whose aperture is wedged between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. It is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a triple safety folding clasp with a push-piece opening mechanism. This watch has a solid caseback decorated with Longines' winged hourglass over a globe meridian background which encases the caliber L688, a COSC-certified Swiss automatic column wheel chronograph movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 66 hours of power reserve, ISO 764 compliant for anti-magnetism and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.
